Amanda S. Lotspeich is the founding attorney of Lotspeich Law, LLC and a Missouri family law trial attorney focused on complex divorce, custody, and high-asset property division cases. She represents clients throughout Central Missouri in contested divorce, child custody disputes, military family law matters, and high-asset marital property cases.

Before becoming an attorney, Amanda spent nearly a decade working in the insurance industry evaluating complex liability claims and litigation strategy. That experience gives her a unique advantage in family law cases involving financial investigations, asset analysis, and litigation strategy.
Her background evaluating claims, reviewing records, and analyzing liability translates directly into building stronger legal strategies and anticipating opposing arguments.
Deeply Rooted in the Warrensburg Community
As a wife and mother, Amanda understands the personal toll legal struggles take on individuals and families. Her roots in the Warrensburg community run deep; her husband’s family has owned and operated Lotspeich Automotive for generations. Being part of a long-standing local business family gives Amanda a unique appreciation for the hard work that goes into building a legacy and the importance of protecting it.
She is a dedicated leader in the Missouri legal community, serving in multiple roles that reflect her commitment to service and professional excellence:
- Board of Trustees, Legal Aid of Western Missouri: Amanda serves on the board to advance access to legal services for underserved populations.
- Alumni Board of Directors, University of Central Missouri: As a proud alumna, she serves her alma mater to support the growth and success of the University of Central Missouri.
- Past President, Johnson County Bar Association: Amanda led the local bar for two terms (2022–2023), focusing on enhancing professionalism and bar engagement.
Education
Amanda earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law.
During law school, she received the Houdek Pro Bono Award for completing the highest number of pro bono service hours in her graduating class, demonstrating her long-standing commitment to helping individuals navigate the legal system.
