Emma serves as a Paralegal at Lotspeich Law, where she works closely with clients and the legal team to provide organized, thoughtful support throughout every stage of the legal process. She understands that family law matters often come during significant life transitions and is committed to helping clients feel informed, supported, and confident from their first interaction with the firm through the resolution of their case.
Emma recently graduated from Lake Forest College with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Creative Writing, along with minors in Legal Studies and Philosophy. Her education provided a strong foundation in legal principles while sharpening the research, writing, and analytical skills that are essential to effective legal advocacy.
During college, Emma gained practical legal experience as an intern with the Pettis County Public Defender's Office, where she reviewed case files, analyzed police and laboratory reports, and conducted legal research. She also competed as a witness on her college's Mock Trial team, strengthening her understanding of courtroom procedure, case preparation, and effective communication.
Beyond her legal experience, Emma demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership and service throughout her college career. She served as a New Student Orientation Coordinator, a member of the Ticket Appeals Advisory Committee, and president of a student organization, developing exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills while working with students, families, and campus leaders.
At Lotspeich Law, Emma assists with case preparation, legal document drafting, client communication, and maintaining organized case files. She believes that thoughtful preparation, attention to detail, and responsive communication are essential to providing clients with the high level of service they deserve.
