Meet Amanda Lotspeich

Amanda Lotspeich is the founder of Lotspeich Law, LLC, a boutique family law firm in Warrensburg, Missouri, serving clients throughout Johnson County and surrounding communities. She built her practice to deliver exceptional legal advocacy rooted in compassion, strategy, and concrete results. As an accomplished trial attorney, Amanda focuses her work on helping clients navigate life’s most difficult transitions, specializing in complex family law, high-asset divorce, child custody, and military family law matters.

Amanda’s mission is to be an advocate who truly listens, prepares deliberately, and fights strategically for the best possible outcomes. Rather than operating a high-volume practice, she serves clients who value premium legal counsel and personalized strategy. Her clients deserve more than standard representation — they deserve a trusted legal partner who approaches every case with empathy, clarity, and disciplined preparation designed to protect their family, finances, and future.

  • What sets Amanda apart in the courtroom is her almost decade of experience in the insurance industry prior to becoming an attorney. Having spent years as a liability claim professional investigating complex coverage and liability disputes, she possesses a refined investigative mindset that is directly applicable to modern family law litigation.

Amanda utilizes these specialized skills to provide a unique advantage in discovery and financial analysis. She understands how to evaluate evidence and analyze liability, allowing her to develop proactive strategies that protect her clients’ interests during negotiations or trial.

  • As a wife and mother, Amanda understands the personal toll legal struggles take on individuals and families. Her roots in the Warrensburg community run deep; her husband’s family has owned and operated Lotspeich Automotive for generations. Being part of a long-standing local business family gives Amanda a unique appreciation for the hard work that goes into building a legacy and the importance of protecting it.

She is a dedicated leader in the Missouri legal community, serving in multiple roles that reflect her commitment to service and professional excellence:

    • Board of Trustees, Legal Aid of Western Missouri: Amanda serves on the board to advance access to legal services for underserved populations.

    • Alumni Board of Directors, University of Central Missouri: As a proud alumna, she serves her alma mater to support the growth and success of the University of Central Missouri.

    • Past President, Johnson County Bar Association: Amanda led the local bar for two terms (2022–2023), focusing on enhancing professionalism and bar engagement.

  • Amanda holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. She also earned a Master of Science in Management from Baker University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Missouri, giving her the financial and operational insight necessary to guide clients through the legal and economic complexities of divorce and custody matters.

Whether resolving cases through negotiation or courtroom advocacy, Amanda is committed to standing beside her clients with professionalism, honesty, and unwavering focus on achieving the strongest possible outcome.
