Amanda S. Lotspeich is the founding attorney of Lotspeich Law, LLC and a Missouri family law trial attorney focused on complex divorce, custody, and high-asset property division cases. She represents clients throughout Central Missouri in contested divorce, child custody disputes, military family law matters, and high-asset marital property cases.

Amanda is licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.

As a wife and mother, Amanda understands the personal toll legal struggles take on individuals and families. Her roots in the Warrensburg community run deep; her husband’s family has owned and operated Lotspeich Automotive for generations. Being part of a long-standing local business family gives Amanda a unique appreciation for the hard work that goes into building a legacy and the importance of protecting it.

Alex serves as the Senior Paralegal at Lotspeich Law, a Warrensburg family law firm serving clients throughout Johnson County and surrounding Central Missouri communities. In her role, Alex supports the firm’s family law practice by helping manage cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, and post-judgment modifications.
Alex brings extensive experience in legal administration and litigation support, with a background that includes work with a private law office and the Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office. In those roles, she assisted attorneys with legal drafting, discovery preparation, subpoena preparation, records collection, and trial organization. This experience provided her with a strong understanding of Missouri court procedures and the detailed preparation required in contested legal matters.
Prior to joining Lotspeich Law, Alex also served as City Clerk for the City of Leeton, Missouri, where she managed municipal operations, budgeting, public records, and administrative processes. That leadership role strengthened her organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate complex responsibilities—qualities that are essential in managing family law cases involving sensitive issues and extensive documentation.

Known for her meticulous organization and steady approach, she plays an important role in ensuring each case moves forward efficiently while helping clients stay informed throughout the legal process.
Alysa, Legal Assistant
Alysa serves as a Legal Assistant at Lotspeich Law, a Warrensburg-based family law firm dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate complex legal matters throughout Johnson County and surrounding Central Missouri communities. As one of the first points of contact for many clients, Alysa helps ensure that individuals seeking guidance with divorce, child custody, child support, and other Missouri family law matters feel welcomed, informed, and supported from the very beginning of their case.
Before joining Lotspeich Law, Alysa served as a Group Home Manager with Rise Community Services, where she oversaw the safety, health, and daily care of residents with diverse needs while managing staff and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This leadership role strengthened her ability to coordinate teams, resolve issues quickly, and maintain organized documentation—skills that translate directly into supporting clients and attorneys in a busy legal environment.
Alysa also served as a Corporal and Aviation Fuel Specialist in the Army National Guard, where she operated in high-responsibility environments supporting aviation operations, including a deployment to Kuwait. Her military service helped develop the discipline, reliability, and attention to detail that she brings to her work today.
