The primary focus of this role is family law. We also welcome candidates with experience in closely related practice areas—such as probate, estate planning, or personal injury—or attorneys who demonstrate the initiative and aptitude to thoughtfully expand their practice into these areas as the firm’s needs evolve.
This position is best suited for an attorney who is self-directed, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development, with the ability to take ownership of new subject matter and build competency efficiently within a supportive, but high-standard, environment.

As an Attorney at Lotspeich Law, you don’t just handle files; you own the strategy and execution of your cases from inception to final resolution. You are a primary driver of client success and firm growth.
Strategic Case Leadership: Lead a diverse caseload primarily focused on Family Law (divorce, custody, modifications, and support). You will be responsible for developing comprehensive litigation strategies that align with our "Guidance with Integrity" mission.
Complex Litigation & Advocacy: Drive all phases of litigation, including drafting sophisticated pleadings, managing complex discovery, and leading high-stakes mediations, depositions, and hearings.
Practice Area Expansion: Exercise the initiative to manage and grow additional practice areas—such as probate, estate planning, or personal injury—independently, leveraging our firm's existing infrastructure.
Trial Mastery: Lead courtroom proceedings and evidentiary hearings with professional confidence, ensuring meticulous preparation and advocacy for every client.
Collaborative Excellence: Partner with our Managing Paralegal and high-caliber support team to ensure every case meets our rigorous "Excellence by Design" standards.
Firm Catalyst: Contribute actively to the firm’s strategic and cultural growth, participating in leadership discussions and mentoring junior staff as you progress on the career track toward Principal Attorney.
