Compensation: Exempt; commensurate with experience; eligible for performance-based incentives

Licensure Requirement: Active Missouri Bar license (required)

Your Questions Answered

    • No business generation required – we provide the clients

  • You will manage family law cases from intake through resolution, including contested matters and hearings.

    This role also includes family-law-adjacent work, such as:

    • probate matters

    • estate planning

    Over time, there is an opportunity to mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm systems and processes.

  • Case Management

    • Manage family law cases from start to finish

    • Keep files progressing without unnecessary delay

    • Ensure deadlines are met without exception

    Legal Work

    • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence

    • Prepare for hearings, mediations, and trial

    • Apply legal research to case strategy

    Client Communication

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients

    • Provide clear, timely, and professional updates

    • Maintain empathy while setting appropriate expectations

    Team Collaboration

    • Delegate work appropriately to paralegals

    • Ensure accuracy and completion of delegated tasks

    • Support overall team efficiency

    This role is designed for attorneys who want their compensation to reflect the quality and efficiency of their work.

    • Licensed attorney in Missouri

    • 3+ years of litigation experience (family law preferred)

    • Experience handling hearings and contested matters

    • Strong writing, organization, and case management skills

    • Willingness to handle probate and estate planning work
